UP govt has lost public support: RLD
Lucknow, Feb 1 (UNI) Castigating the Samajwadi Party-led coalition in Uttar Pradesh, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) today claimed that owing to dismal law and order situation, people have lost faith in the state government.
Talking to mediapersons here, RLD chief and former union minister Ajit Singh said after Nithari, it was clear that even UP Police were hand-in-glove with the criminals.
''Otherwise, it is not possible that 40 children are butchered in a house and police did not know about it.'' ''It is painful that state PWD minister laughed at the miseries of the parents, who lost their children in Nithari by terming the incident as normal,'' Mr Singh noted.
He reiterated the demand for imposing President's rule in UP, alleging free and fair assembly election is not possible under the rule of Mulayam Singh Yadav in UP.
