UBI announces revision of interest rates

Kolkata, Feb 01 (UNI) Close on the heels of similar decisions taken by some other public sector Banks, the city-based United Bank of India (UBI) today announced immediate revision of interest rates on all NRE&FCNR deposits as per the following chart.

Accordingly the interest rates for NRE term deposits for period between one year and less than two years had been reduced from 6.33 to 5.93 per cent.

Similarly the NRE deposit for two years to less than three years would now receive interest at the rate of 5.85 from 6.16 per cent, and for three years to five years from 6.08 to 5.80 per cent, UBI sources here today said.
