Two Nigerians arrested with 2.1 Kg drugs

New Delhi, Feb 1 (UNI) The Delhi Police have busted an International drug cartel with arrest of three people, including two Nigerians, and recovered 2.1 kg of Heroin from their possession.

The Nigerians, Hector Jr and Majeed, both of them hailing from Lagos in Nigeria, were arrested from near Dwarka metro station yesterday while they were recieving a consignment of drugs from one Jang Bahadur from Patiala in Punjab.

A total of 2.1 kg of heroin, worth Rs 2 crore, was recovered from them.

Interrogation of the three revealed that the heroin was procured from Pakistan-based drug traffickers who smuggled it to India.

Hector and Majid revealed that Jang Bahadur is the main conduit of this cartel.

Jang Bahadur revealed that he had visited Delhi eight to nine times earlier to deliver consignment of drugs and also that he had established links in Delhi through drug traffickers based in Pakistan.
