Suicide bomber kills six in central Baghdad - police

BAGHDAD, Feb 1 (Reuters) Six people were killed and 12 wounded when a suicide bomber blew himself up in a minibus in the central Baghdad district of Karrada today, police said.

Details were sketchy but police said the death toll could rise. Separately a mortar barrage hit the northern Baghdad Sunni district of Adhamiya, killing one person and wounding nine, police said.
