Security Press declared Public Utility Service
New Delhi, Feb 1 (UNI) Indian Security Press, Nashik Road, has been declared as Public Utility Service for six months from January 25 in public interest.
This has been made effective by a notificaiton issued by the Labour and Employment Minsitry, an official release said here today.
The employees in this industry, as a result, would, among other things, be required to give notice to their employer six weeks in advance to proceed for a strike so that concilitary proceedings could be started.
During the conciliatry proceedings and seven days after their completion, the employees in this industry cannot go on strike, the release added.
