Night temperatures below normal in Karnataka
Pune, Feb 1 (UNI) Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of south interior Karnataka and were below normal in some parts of Tamil Nadu.
They were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, interior Orissa, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Jammu, Kashmir, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, north Konkan Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, and Chattisgarh. It was above normal in south Konkan and Goa and in some parts of Bihar and in remaining parts of West Bengal and Sikkim. Thay were normal over the rest of the country.
Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
Mainly dry weather will prevail over the Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand and Bihar.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Gangetic West Bengal.
