NCDEX records trade worth Rs 2,976 cr

Mumbai, Feb 1 (UNI) As many as 2,751 users of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) participated in trading worth Rs 2,976 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs today.

There were 1,10,060 trades put through by them. Active trades were in guarseeds, chana, gold, and refined soya oil, a NCDEX release here said.

Yesterday, about 573 members had participated in trading and put through more than 1,01,140 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 2330 hrs was Rs 2,943 crore (one way).

Active trades were in chana, pepper, guarseed, gold and refined soya oil, the release added.
