Militant hideout at Kota Top unearthed

Jammu, Feb 1 (UNI) Security forces today unearthed a militant hideout at Kota Top in Gandoh Tehsil of Doda district and recovered a huge quanity of ammunition and ration from the war-like store today, police said.

In a search operation, security forces recovered five kg RDX explosive, 14 PIKA rounds, two hand grenades, 16 AK rounds, one detonator and two meters cortex wire from the hideout, Doda SSP Manohar Singh told UNI.

Besides, two quintal rice, two quintal atta, 50 kgs sugar, 50 kgs pulses, ten kgs tea, ten kgs ghee, five kgs milk powder and a large number of utensils were also recovered from the war-like store, he added.
