M K Parida takes over as MD DSIIDC

New Delhi, Feb 1 (UNI) Mr Manoj Kumar Parida, Special Secretary with Delhi government's Urban Development department today assumed charge as Managing Director of Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation.

Mr Parida, a 1986 batch Indian Aadministrative Service officer of Union Territory Cadre, had a master's degree in International Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University and management degree from Calcutta University.

In the past he had held a number of important and prestigious assignments such as Commissioner-cum-Secretary Home, Power, and Public Works Department in Arunachal Pradesh, Secretary to the governments of Andaman and Goa, Additional Commissioner Municipal Corporation of Delhi and Director Delhi Jal Board.

Mr Parida had also worked with Food Corporation of India.

He replaced Jalaj Shrivastava as MD, who moved to FCI.
