Kirloskar bags $ 2.1 mln orders from US cos

New Delhi, Feb 1 (UNI) Kirloskar Brothers Ltd (KBL) today said it has received two orders from the US-based companies worth 2.1 million dollars.

The first order of 1.93 million dollars has been awarded by Bechtel Power Corporation for the supply of two sets of vertical circulating water pumpsets for its 568 mw Sandow Steam Electric Station.

This would be KBL's largest capacity vertical pumps supply for circulating water application in foreign market.

The company will also supply to California-based JF Shea Construction Inc four sets of sewage water pumpsets for its Beaumont MESA Sewer Lift Station.

The contract value is 1.76 million dollars.

The company has bagged both these orders against stiff international competition from global payers, a statement issued said.
