ICAR to organise NE Agricutural fair

Shillong, Feb 01 (UNI) To showcase the development options in agriculture and its allied sectors to the NE farmers, the ICAR for North Eastern region, Umiam is organising a fair from March fifth to seventh.

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is organising a three-day North East Agriculture fair in its complex along with a seminar on ''Extension Strategies for Optimising Agricultural Production and Entrepreneurship Development in NE.'' Besides, an exhibition on agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry and fishery would be put up by the government organisations of the NE states.
