Hindu forces fanning communalism: Digvijay

Bhopal, Feb 1 (UNI) Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh today expressed serious concern over communal tension at few places in Madhya Pradesh and blamed the BJP government for letting loose the Hindu organisations for the flare-up.

''The state government should not patronise such people attempting to disturb communal harmony,'' Mr Singh said in a statement.

He urged Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to take proper steps to maintain peace and to sternly deal with fundamentalist and communal forces.

Decrying the attempt to take political benefit out of the latest incidents, he said, ''Steps should also be taken to ensure that RSS, Bajrang Dal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and BJP workers do not cross the limits.'' UNI
