Futures add gains after inflation data

NEW YORK, Feb 1 (Reuters) US stock futures added to gains, positioning the market for a higher open on Thursday, after a key gauge of US inflation underscored expectations for no increases in interest rates in the months ahead.

Standard&Poor's 500 futures were up 3.4 points, above fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract.

Dow Jones industrial average futures were up 32 points, and Nasdaq 100 futures were up 5.50 points.
