Former US President Clinton's stepfather dies

LITTLE ROCK, Ark, Feb 1 (Reuters) Richard Kelley, former US President Bill Clinton's stepfather, died yesterday at his home in Hot Springs, Arkansas, after a lengthy illness. He was 91.

Kelley's death was confirmed by Skip Rutherford, dean of the Clinton School of Public Service at Little Rock.

''Dick was a gregarious, fun and inspiring individual,'' Rutherford said. ''He frequently represented the president, and always did so with grace and class.'' Kelley, a retired businessman, was the fourth husband of Clinton's mother, Virginia Clinton Kelley, who died of breast cancer in 1994.
