CM to lay foundation stone for Sarovaram Project

Kozhikode, Feb 1 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan would lay foundation stone for the Rs 17.5 crore Sarovaram (Swapnanagari) Tourism Project here on February 4.

State Tourism and Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishan would preside over the function, said an official release here today.

As per the blue print, the first phase of the project envisaged beautification of Canoli Canal, landscaping and construction of footpath.

Gate house, open air stage, fountains, children park, water park, museums, aquariums and watch tower, among other things, would be constructed on a 202 acre extent of land in the second and third phases, the release added.
