BJP demands high-level probe in Faizabad shootout

Ayodhya, Feb 1 (UNI) The BJP today demanded a high-level investigation into the recent shootout in Faizabad district.

On Tuesday, a policeman was killed and four others grievously wounded, when they were allegedly shot at by a youth, Puneet Sharma, in Delhi Darwaja area of Faizabad.

Talking to mediapersons here, senior BJP leader and MP Kalraj Mishra alleged that Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav had given an assistance of Rs one lakh each to the three youths, who were responible for the shootout.
