Air France flight diverted after bomb threat
PARIS, Feb 1 (Reuters) An Air France flight from Paris to Rome was diverted to the eastern French city of Lyon today after an anonymous phone call warned of a bomb, a spokeswoman for the civil aviation authorities said.
The spokeswoman said the plane landed safely and all the passengers had disembarked.
Local officials in Lyon said 123 passengers had been aboard the plane, which had landed at 1600 hours. Firefighters and explosives experts were searching the plane.
An Air France spokeswoman said a police inquiry into the case had been opened. She gave no further details.
