20-22 per cent polling in Thane till 1130 hrs

Thane, Feb 1 (UNI) An average 20-22 per cent polling has been reported in Thane upto 1130 hrs.

Municipal Commissioner Nandkumar Jantre, who is incharge of the election told reporters during the initial two hours, the polling was around 10 per cent.

It was peaceful and without any untoward incident. It was brisk too, he said.

Meanwhile, polling for the Thane Municipal Corporation started at 0730 hrs today.
