MULTA cadre held

Kokrajhar, Jan 31 (UNI) A MULTA cadre was arrested from Salijhar area of Chirang district of Asom last night.

Army sources informed here today that Muslim United Liberation Tiger of Asom (MULTA) member Moiddin Ali was arrested yesterday after three other cadres of the same outfit were nabbed the previous day.

An AK-47 rifle was recovered from him, the sources added.

Meanwhile, a truckload of illegal wood was also seized by the SSB from Kachugaon in Kokrajhar district last night.

Nine people were also arrested in this connection.
