Chennai Corpn worker asphyxiated

Chennai, Jan 31 (UNI) A 40-year-old contract employee of Chennai Corporation was asphyxiated when he attempted to clean up drain at K K Nagar in the city today.

Police identified the deceased as Chandran and the body retrieved from the drain by the Fire Services personnel. It was later sent to hospital for post-mortem.
