Ancient idol recovered

Sitapur, Jan 31 (UNI) Two burglars were arrested with an 'ashtadhatu' idol worth several lakh of rupees here.

On a tip-off, cops reached Maholi railway crossing in Hargaon area and nabbed Habib and Tiwari Pasi late last night, police said today.

On being frisked, an ancient idol of Goddess Kali was recovered from their possession.
