Two men charged under terrorism laws in Britain
LONDON, Jan 30 (Reuters) Two men were charged in Britain on Monday on suspicion of possessing computer files and discs linked to terrorism, including one called ''Attack Against American Troops'' and another entitled ''Al Qaeda'', police said.
Rizwan Ditta, 29, and Mohammad Dilal, 25, from northern England, were due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court in London today, the police said in a statement.
Among a list of 13 charges under terrorism laws, Ditta is accused of owning computer files called ''Hamas Bomb'', ''Instructions'' and ''Attack Against American Troops''.
The files gave rise ''to a reasonable suspicion that your possession is for a purpose connected with the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism'', the statement said.
Dilal, who faces two charges, is accused of possessing a compact disc entitled ''The Manhattan Raid'' and a disc containing a clip called ''Al Qaeda'' on January 23, police said.
The two men, from the northern English city of Halifax, were arrested last week.
