Two killed as tipper-lorry overturns

Palakkad, Jan 30 (UNI) Two people were killed and two others seriously injured when a tipper-lorry in which they were travelling overturned at Agali near Pavakulam in Palakkad district last night.

Police said the victims were returning home after attending a temple festival.

The deceased were identified as Babu (40) of Karara and Ravi (41) of Kannur.

The injured were admitted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital, police added.
