Three villagers abducted from forest in Shivpuri
Shivpuri, Jan 30: Three villagers, who had gone to collect wood from the forest at Pohri area in this district, have been abducted by dacoits, police said today.
Banwari Gadaria, Ramprasad Gadaria, Bachchu Gadaria and Kalla Gadaria had gone to collect wood in the forest yesterday when they were abducted by five dacoits.
Later, Kalla was released by the gang to send a message that 21 of their men had been killed and in revenge 30 people would be targetted by them.
On being informed by Kalla, police started combing the area to track down the dacoits.
Since all the abductees belonged to Gadaria community, it was being suspected that a dacoit gang of Gurjars had carried out the abduction.
