TDP politicising agriculture power issue: APCC

Hyderabad , Jan 30: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Kisan Cell Chairman Kodanda Reddy today alleged that the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) was politicising the issue of distribution of power to agriculture sector.

Addressing the press here, Mr Reddy pointed out that the state government was taking all possible steps to supply elecricity to agriculture sector despite power shortage due to increasing power consumption in the state.

He alleged that the TDP, which had ignored the plight of farmers during its nine-year-regime should understand the problems faced by the peasants and help the government in solving them without politicising the farmers issues.
