Another minister arrested, Koirala to address Terai people
Kathmandu, Jan 30 (UNI) Police arrested three Nepal ministers on the charge of instigating violence in Terai, bordering India Recently, Salim Mia Ansari, Minister for Forest and Soil Conservation in the royal government, was arrested.
He was arrested today on the charges of inciting the unrest in the Terai region recently.
Kamal Thapa and Badri Prasad Mandal, Home Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, respectively, during the King Gyanendra's rule were arrested on similar charges last night.
Government officials said the royal forces were behind the unrest in the Terai for the last few days.
Six people have already been killed in the violence launched by Terai Forum.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Koirala is to address the Terai people today.
