Two incidents of robbery registered

Mumbai, Jan 29 (UNI) Two incidents of robbery have been registered during the last 24 hours in the metropolis.

According to complainant Nitesh Krishna Bhogaskar (19), a driver, who was on his way to Kurla from Andheri when two unidentified persons halted his vehicle requesting for lift near the Head Star building off Andheri-Kurla road at around 2230 hrs last night.

They later threatened Bhogaskar at knife point and fled with the vehicle and his mobile, police said here today.

In another incident, one Sanjay Rajkumarsingh Rathod (22) a tourist, came to the city from Rajasthan to meet his friend Mohammed Nasim Kamruddin Sheikh (22). He got down at Sewri railway station on harbour line and inquired for the address of Sheikh.

Under the pretext of showing the address, unidentified persons took him to a lonely place and snatched his mobile and cash of Rs 500 and fled from the scene.

A case of robbery has been registered in the matter.
