Mild tremors felt in Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad, Jan 29: Mild tremors were experienced last night in Yelligadu Mandal and adjoining areas in Karimnagar District, about 130 km from here.

National Geophysical Research Institute sources here today said the tremor measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale occurred late in the night followed by three aftershocks.

A control room was opened at the District Collector's office to provide information to the people.
