Three bandits nabbed

Shivpuri, MP, Jan 29 (UNI) In the wake of the Dayaram-Rambabu Gadaria dacoit gang's activity tending to nil in Madhya Pradesh's northern region, this district's police has arrested three bandits attempting to either rejuvenate the outfit or forming a new gang for extortion and other crimes.

''Kamal Kishore Gadaria, Rustam Baghel and Mulua Jatav were apprehended late last night in the Nadanwara forest with villagers' assistance. Two accomplices managed to flee. A gun, shotgun, crude revolver and chain were seized. Kamal and Baghel were temporary members of the Gadaria gang,'' Superintendent Sajid Farid Shapu told mediapersons here this evening.

Dayaram has been slain by the police while his brother Rambabu was reportedly injured in a recent encounter but his whereabouts are unknown.
