Sunil Jain becomes President of NITMA

New Delhi, Jan 29 (UNI) Mr Sunil Jain, Chairman and Managing Director, IC Textiles Ltd, a 100 per cent Export-Oriented Unit, has been unanimously elected as the President of the Northern India Textile Mills' Association (NITMA) for 2007-08.

Mr Jain has long and rich experience both in textiles and exports. His Group's textile operations consist of 1.25 lakhs spindles and a state-of-the-art weaving and processing House for wide sheeting.

He was the Senior Vice President of NITMA and was elected as the President of the Association by the Executive Committee of NITMA, recently at a meeting in Delhi.

The NITMA Executive Committee has also elected unanimously Mr Asish Bagrodia as the Senior Vice President.

Mr Bagrodia is the Joint Managing Director of the Winsome Group having an annual turnover of above Rs 350 crore. It has diversified business interests in textiles, information technology and mini hydro power, a NITMA statement said today.
