Sun TV Q3 net jumps 50 pc to Rs 59.77 crore

Mumbai, Jan 29 (UNI) Sun TV Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 59.77 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 39.90 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005, a jump of 49.79 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has increased from Rs 94.81 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 125.02 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.

Further the company has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company has recommended an interim dividend of Rs 3 per share (30 per cent).
