SS activist Ashok Hiraman Bhoir found dead

Thane, Jan 29 (UNI) A Shiv Sena activist Ashok Hiraman Bhoir was found dead in Naupada locality of the city today, police said.

The Naupada police said they got a call around noon that a body was lying in an abandoned Scorpio vehicle near Nitin Company.

The body also had bullet wounds.

Bhoir was instrumental in bringing about a split in the Maharashtra Navanirman Sena (MNS) and bringing back activists to Shiv Sena recently.

While the body of Bhoir has been sent to Thane civil hospital for post-mortem, the Naupada police are carrying out further investigations.

The motive behind the killing was still not known.

Political rivalry could be one of the causes for Bhoir's murder, police said.
