Six fleeing juvenile offenders caught
Bangalore, Jan 29 (UNI) Six juvenile offenders of the 44 inmates of a city remand home who escaped yesterday, were today caught by the Karnataka police, even as two personnel of the home were kept under suspension.
State Women and Child Welfare Minister H K Kumaraswamy, who inspected the remand home, issued order for the suspension of two of its staff members.
It may be recalled here that as many as 46 children, after having their lunch, jumped out of the toilet, climbed a tree close to the outer wall and escaped. However, two of them were immediately caught by the remand home personnel and a police team had been formed to nab the remaining absconders.
