Simplex Q3FY07 net up 57 pc

New Delhi, Jan 29 (UNI) Simplex Infrastructure today posted 57 per cent jump in its net profit at Rs 17.3 crore in the third quarter ended December 30, 2006, in comparison to Rs 11 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The company's net sales for the quarter rose 13.60 per cent to Rs 425.67 crore against with Rs 374.7 crore, a year ago.

The total income for the quarter rose 14.28 per cent to Rs 428.99 crore compared with Rs 375.38 crore, a year ago.

Recently, the company had bagged orders aggregating Rs 825 crore.

Its overseas order intake accounts for over 50 per cent of the amount.
