Kolkata, Jan 29 (UNI) District sessions Judge Bandana Roy today granted an interim bail to former Trimool Congress MLA Sanjay Bakshi till February 27.

The party's youth wing's all India secretary was arrested on January 24 on the basis of a complaint lodged by one Soma Das.

Mr Bakshi was asked by the judge to appear before the court on February 27.

The court had given the verdict against the bail petition moved by counsel Moloy Ghosh challenging the order of Hargovind Singh to keep Mr Bakshi in judicial custody till February 8.
