Rain or thudershowers likely at several places in the country

Pune, Jan 29 (UNI) Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in West Bengal and Sikkim, west Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujrat region, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Chattisgarh and in some parts of Saurashtra and Kutch and Vidarbha and were above normal in Manipur, Punjab, Rayalseema and Karnataka and in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Orissa, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh,Telangana,Tamil Nadu and Kerala. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or snow are likely to occur at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal and Himachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura,sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar ,east Uttar Pradesh, south Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Gujrat region, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the Arunachal Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, north Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema and interior Karnataka.

Rain or snow have occured at a few places in Jammua and Kashmir.

Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in Konkan and Goa and Kerala.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Lakshadweep and isolated places in Tamil Nadu. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh,Rajasthan,Gujarat state,Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Andman and Nicobar Islands.
