'Qutub Miniar' Tazia attract attention
Shajapur, MP, Jan 29 (UNI) A 125-foot-high 'tajia' -- modelled on Delhi's Qutub Minar and built at a cost of Rs 1 lakh -- is the cynosure of all eyes in Shujalpur on the eve of Mohurram.
Mohurram observed every year to mark the anniversary of the battle of Karbala where Prophet Mohammad's grandson Hussein bin Ali was killed.
The 'tajia', made by labourer Taj Khan, is claimed to be Asia's biggest.
It took me three months to complete it with the help of 16 people, Khan said.
