Portfolios allotted for 5 new K'taka Ministers

Bangalore, Jan 29 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today announced portfolio allocation for the five new Ministers inducted into the Cabinet on January 25.

According to an official communication here, Mr G T Deve Gowda (JD-S) had been alloted Cooperation, Mr R Srinivas (JD-S) Muncipal Administration excluding Bangalore and Corporations, Mahadeva Prasad (JD-S) Kannada and Culture, S Shivanna (BJP) Sericulture and Appu Pattanshetty (BJP) Textiles.

The Wakf portfolio, held by Mr Zameer Ahmed who had resigned recently, was given to Labour Minister Iqbal Ansari as additional charge, the communication said.
