People get respite as mercury rises

Imphal, Jan 29 (UNI) The people of Manipur had some respite as the mercury rose and weather conditions improved slightly.

The temperature which was around 3 to 4 degree Celcius was recorded at 5.7 today while a maximum of 25. 6 degree Celcius was recorded.

MET officials said there was no rainfall so far and the humidity was about 86 perc ent.
