Uttar Pradesh: Passenger train catches fire

Lucknow, Jan 29: A raging inferno broke out in a passenger train in Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh today.

The train on way to Allahabad from Bhatni caught fire near Chakra Hault. The passengers, however, managed to extinguish the fire within a few hours.

There was no casuality, police said.

A short circuit was said to be the reason behind the incident.
