Opposition walks out from Assembly over fake encounter

Jammu, Jan 29 (UNI) The main opposition in Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly National Conference (NC) today walked out from the house over the fake encounter in Kashmir valley.

Raising the issue of the fake encounter at Ganderbal, the NC members demanded a thorough probe and statement. After 10 minutes of noisy scenes and uproar, Minister for Health and Medical Education Mangat Ram Sharma assured that the Government will reply in the House.

But unsatisfied with the reply, NC members Mubarak Gul and Sayeed Akhoon walked out from the House.

It may be mentioned that the Government has ordered a probe by a dig-level officer after attaching the service of the SSP and Deputy SP besides arrests of two policemen yesterday, The Assembly witnessed uproarious scenes with Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) members also walking out from the house over separate issues.

In the morning, JKNPP members Balwant Singh, Harshdev Singh and Yashpal Kundal along with BJP member Jugal Kishore walked out over the disparity in payment of wages of labourers between Jammu and Kashmir regions.
