No alliance with Congress for MC elections: CPI(M)
Visakhapatnam, Jan 29 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (Marxist) will not have any alliance with the Congress and consider a tie-up with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the CPI for the ensuing Municipal Corporation (MC) elections.
Releasing the first list of 22 candidates for the forthcoming Municipal Corporation elections scheduled for February 19 here, CPI(M) state secretariat member Ch Narsinga Rao said the party was open to adjustment with any party other than the Congress and the BJP.
