New J'khand BJP president promises to make Koda run for his money

Ranchi, Jan 29 (UNI) New Jharkhand BJP president Pashupati Nath Singh today said he prioritised his agenda that mainly included bringing to public notice all ''misdeeds'' of the present UPA-backed Madhu Koda government in the state.

Asserting that his party would come back to power, Mr Singh, also a former Minister, said making the BJP stronger at grassroots level was also his priority.

Talking to UNI after his appointment as state BJP president, Mr Singh said he had many challenges and hoped to sort out those through support of his colleagues.

He expressed gratitude to the party leadership for their faith in him.

Meanwhile, former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Arjun Munda congratulated the new president and said he was an experienced person, who had shown his acumen both in party organisational matters and as a Minister.
