New-concept Crocodile stores across India

Kochi, Jan 29 (UNI) To target the 'young-at-heart' customers, Coimbatore-based garment manufacturing company, S P Apparels Limited, which recently acquired Crocodile India, will open new-concept Crocodile stores across the country.

Addresing a gathering after announcing the opening of the first company-owned Crocodile store here today, Retail Vice-President Sanjay Chandrashekar said the store would showcase a wide range of new fashion collection for the 'young-at-heart' consumers.

The company would open 12 such stores across the country, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderbad, Noida and Salem this year, he informed.

Mr Chandrashekar said the company would concentrate to promote their competitively priced products in tier II cities in the country.

''With the retail boom in the country, we are aggresively strengthening all the retail channels and revamping the distribution network for the Crocodile brand in the south, east and the western markets in the country,'' he noted.

The Crocodile product mix consists of formal, casuals and smart casuals wear, including T-shirts, shirts, trousers and jeans catering to various target groups and in different price range.

S P Apparels founded in 1989, recorded a combined turnover of Rs 200 crore for the year ended March 2006.
