Matrusri eager to join hands with K'taka Govt
Mysore, Jan 29 (UNI) Matrusri, the first institute in the country to introduce audio-visual teaching method, is willing to join hands with the Karnataka Government to take this methodology to villages to hone the skills of high school students and help them take up professional courses.
Addressing media persons here today, Mr L K Raju, Institute incharge in Karnataka, said the Institute would hand over a memorandum in this regard to the Government shortly to play a vital role in the State's progress.
The Institute presently had two centres in the State -- in Mysore and Mangalore -- and planned to open two more in Bangalore this year. It conducted foundation courses for high school students to improve their skills in core subjects like mathematics and science, and was planning to start a vacation course for the benefit of 10th standard students during April-May this year.
