Indian films line-up for Fajr Film Festival
Dubai, Jan 29 (UNI) Two Indian films will be screened at the 11-day Islamic World Section of the prestigious 25th Fajr International Film Festival in Tehran on February 1.
The Indian films to be screened are ''Lesson One: A Wail'' by T V Chandran and ''Black'' by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Films from Iraq, France, Germany, the United States, the Netherlands, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates will be shown.
The films would be competing for Simorghs, the most prestigious Iranian cinematic award, in the International Competition Section of the event.
Oriya actress Bijaya Jena, who won the State Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film ''Jaga Balia,'' is one of the jurors in the festival.
