HSIIDC undertakes several mega projects
Chandigarh, Jan 29 (UNI) Haryana State Infrastructure and Industrial Development Corporation (HSIIDC) has undertaken a number of mega projects under public private partnership model, including the Reliance SEZ, KMP Expressway, Nano City, Petrochemical Hub and Gurgaon Recreation Park.
A HSIIDC spokesman said the KMP Expressway was the largest BOT project in the country, which was connecting four National Highways NH-1, NH-2, NH-8 and NH-10. The 135 km Highway proejct would be implemented with an investment of Rs 2,500 crore, he added.
He claimed that the Reliance SEZ Project was also the largest Special Economic Zone in the country being implemented with the Reliance group over an area of 25,000 acres with an investment of Rs 40,000 crore.
The spokesman said that a Petrochemical Hub was also being set up in Panipat in joint venture with Indian Oil Corporation for downstream industries. This project would be spread over an area of 5,000 acres with a capital outlay of Rs 4,000 crore, he added.
He said that HSIIDC had developed a world class industrial Moden Township at Manesar in Gurgaon besides developing of Industrial Growth Centres over an area of 3,000 acres and 2,000 acres at Bawal and Rewari respectively.
