'Gaon Ki Beti' list in MP

Bhopal, Jan 29 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Department has released, on its website, a village-wise list of 3,201 deserving female students of government colleges -- for 2006-07 -- under the 'Gaon Ki Beti' (Daughter of the Village) Scheme.

''Those colleges, which have not sent related details to the department, were directed to do so by February 5,'' Commissioner (Higher Education) S N Mishra said here today.

Those students who could not apply yet due to lack of information, may do so now.
