Fog disrupts flights in Kolkata for second day

Kolkata, Jan 29: All the flights at Netaji Subash Chandra Bose International Airport were disrupted for the secod day following heavy fog.

Airport sources said all the leading flights were delayed. A special flight of Air India carrying Haj piligims returning to the city had to be diverted to Nagpur after failing to land here.

''Normal services was resumed only around 0920hrs when the visibilty resumed. There was no cancellation but all morning flights were delayed,'' NSCBI director V K Monga told UNI.

Visibilty at the airport came down to 50 meters between that lasted for about five hours.
