Flight operations resumed from Vizag

Visakhapatnam, Jan 29 (UNI) The flight operations to and from the Visakhapatnam airport resumed after nine days today.

According to airport sources here, the climatic conditions improved by noon and visibility beyond 4500 metres.

However, flight No 7477 (Indian) Delhi-Raipur-Vizag-Chennai remained cancelled for today also. Its operations would resume tomorrow.

The Air Sahara, Air Deccan, Kingfisher flights landed here this afternoon. The Indian resumed Hyderabad-Tirupati-Vizag services, sources added.

The services were cancelled since January 20 due to poor visibility and heavy smog.
